Salmon with Avocado Salad

When it comes to Souvla, sometimes less is more
This super simple Grilled Salmon with Avocado Salad recipe will leave your friends in absolute awe of your Souvla Braai.

Ingredients
For the salad
• 1/2 cucumber
• 1 avocado(s)
• 1 chili pepper
• 1/4 bunch coriander
• lime juice, of 1 lime
• lime zest, of 1 lime
• 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
For the salmon
• 800 g salmon, (4 fillets)
• 50 g olive oil
• salt
• pepper
• 1/2 cucumber
• 1 avocado(s)
• 1 chili pepper
• 1/4 bunch coriander
• lime juice, of 1 lime
• lime zest, of 1 lime
• 2 tablespoon(s) olive oil
• 1/2 teaspoon(s) salt
For the salmon
• 800 g salmon, (4 fillets)
• 50 g olive oil
• salt
• pepper
Instructions
Now that you have your ingredients ready, prepare a fire and make sure everyone is hungry!
For the salad
Step 1: Firstly, cut the cucumber into 0.5 cm cubes and add them into a bowl.
Step 2: Then, peel the avocado, cut it into 1 cm cubes, and add them to the bowl.
Step 3: Next, cut the chili pepper into slices and add them to the bowl.
Step 4: Finely chop the coriander and add it to the bowl.
Step 5: Lastly, add the lime juice and zest, the olive oil, the salt, and mix all the ingredients with a spoon.
Step 6: Once made, set the salad aside until the salmon is cooked.
For the salmon
Step 1: Firstly, make sure your fire has a high heat.
Step 2: Then, put the salmon fillets into a bowl, grease them, and season them with salt and pepper.
Step 3: With the ingredients, mix well and grill the salmon on your souvla braai flat grill for 4-5 minutes on each side, starting from the skin side.
Step 4: When the salmon has a nice dark color, remove the salmon from the heat.
Step 5: Lastly, serve the salmon along with the salad and enjoy.
