How to Clean your Souvla Braai

Now that you’ve established yourself as a Souvla Braai master,
it’s time for some TLC talk to ensure that your ranking doesn’t slip because of grease or corrosion. We’ve put together some great pointers that will help you to keep your Souvla Braai in the best shape possible.

1

The Wipe Down

After each use it is essential to wipe down your Souvla Braai in order to maintain the cleanliness of the stainless steel. Use a soft cloth or sponge and warm, soapy water to remove any food or grease that may have been left behind. This will help to prevent any stains or corrosion from forming on the surface.

2

Beware: Tough Stains

If your Souvla Souvla is starting to show signs of tough stains or burnt-on residue, don’t worry. You can use a non-abrasive cleaner and a non-scratch scrubber to gently remove the stains without damaging the surface. Some popular options include baking soda and water, vinegar and baking soda, or a commercially available stainless steel cleaner.

3

Add Some Elbow-grease

Add a stainless steel cleaner after you’ve cleaned your Souvla Souvla for an excellent way to restore shine and protect the surface from fingerprints and future stains. Simply apply a small amount to a soft cloth and wipe the surface in a circular motion. Repeat this process as needed.

4

Perfectly Skew(er)

Cleaning the skewers is quite simple, just use some warm water, together with sunlight liquid with a pot scourer and Bob’s-your-uncle!

5

Keep Your Motor Running

When it comes to taking care of your Motor, make sure you charge it 3 hours before the first use, and also if there is a thundershower lurking, do not leave it outdoors in the bad weather.

6

Smooth Gears

Making sure your gearbox is in top form is also very important. If you hear any unusual noise coming from the gears, take some Q20 and spray this into the gears while they are running to help smooth things out again. That’s how to clean your braai.
